Polymer Chemistry

Piramal Life Sciences has recently introduced Polymer Chem Grp in Drug Discovery. Our research is at the interface of polymers and drug discovery.

Prime activities

• in vitro and in vivo imaging of NCEs, cellular kinetics, and polymeric innovations
• PEGylation-to improve half life, solubility, efficacy, and reduce toxicity
• Micro/nanocarriers: multicomponent targeted delivery systems for NCEs and biomacromolecules (polymeric prodrug conjugates, and self assemblies)
• Biomaterials: as drug discovery tools and novel delivery systems
